It’s becoming impossible to slot music into comfortable genre descriptions. It may be ‘maddening’ when trying to make best of the year music lists but it’s encouraging as it simultaneously means that creativity is fueling music towards a broader universe. The electronic genre is a case in point cause it stretches from pop to black metal. Nevertheless, i sought to contain myself somewhat so that this list ranges between ambient and rock.
