I spent the past week listening to this exceptional album by the The Black Keys. They’ve brought blues rock into the present with catchy moments reminiscent of The White Stripes at their best. Add a touch of Jimi Hendrix so that moments are funky or psychedelic and it’s assured of being not only consistent but interesting too.  This is a perfect album to get stoned to. Favourite tracks –  so many but extra applauds for ‘Next Girl’ and ‘Everlasting Light’.
