Their albums I Am the Fun Blame Monster!, Friend and Foe and Mines received, justifiably, great applause from critics whilst live shows helped win the hearts of many fans. Their recording process is as quirky as their off beat melodies. A tempo grows to a drum loop before more riffs from other instruments get added. Much of this is done via email, making the whole group into a democratic songwriting process. I enjoyed the 3 albums mentions but particularly Friend and Foe which is one of the better indie rock albums of the past decade.
