It’s a tough debate whether to let countries help themselves or to give aid. It’s even tougher when countries host fundamentalists, whether christian or muslim. But it’s damn tough to be intellectual rather than emotional when faced with disaster of an enormous magnitude…such as it was with the 2010 floods in Pakistan when 20% of the country was underwater, killing 2000 and affecting the lives of 20 million people.
