Canada’s birthed an astonishingly, large amount of quality artists and is one of the most exciting for today’s indie scene. Unfortunately, the world hasn’t embraced many of these stellar acts. STARS has been twice nominated for their esteemed Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year and once for the Polaris Music Prize. All members of the band are in the more well-known, Broken Social Scene but STARS gains more favour here for being more grounded, sincere and accessible.
