JUGGERNAUGHT best described themselves when they said that they were “a band of hairy, whiskey guzzlin’, guitar slingin’ men who play hairy, whiskey guzzlin’, guitar slingin’ music”. Their latest, and rawly titled, Bring the Meat Back, is full of the attitude we came to expect after listening to the wonderful spit that was 2009’s Act of Goat. Gerald Clark – Black Water (review)

GERALD CLARK’s Black Water album is as country and western as it gets, not only because of the genre (there’s a healthy dose of blues too) but because of the imagery and emotions it invokes. It’s easy to imagine a tough, life-bitten cowboy travelling dusty roads with windswept, tumbleweed for company.
